Attack of the Mac! 6 - Pack. Each pack makes approx. 2.5 cups of Mac & Cheese.
The wholesome comfort of cheesy mac, without the cheese.
- Bring 2.5 cups of water to a boil. Pinch pouch to keep the 'cheese' mix in place. Add just the pasta shells to boiling water. Remove paper divider! Cook for 8-9 minute, until al dente or tender.
- In a sauce pan, add 1 cup of milk, milk substitute or water (if using a plant milk, make sure it does not have any vanilla flavour or added sugar, we recommend using water if unsure and it tastes great!) and add remaining contents of pouch. Bring to a boil while continuing to stir. Simmer until desired ‘cheesy’ consistency has been reached.
- Optional - add a tbsp of butter or vegan butter to the sauce.
- Strain pasta and add cheese sauce while stirring over low heat.
Ingredients: Pasta shells (durum wheat semolina), nutritional yeast, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, paprika, salt. Enjoy!
